A crafts for children favourite is stamping towelling with colourful paint.

One of a string of wonderful crafts for children who love paint. Be it on white or pastel shade towel, they are wonderful media for colouful stamping. These towels can afterwards be given as personalised gifts for birthdays, Christmas or even on Valentine's Day. Don't forget Mother's day and Father's Day.
Method:
Plan a design for your towelling item before you start.
Apply the paint to the bottom of the stamp using a paint brush and do tests on scrap paper before you start. Use a paint brush to apply paint to the stamp.
In this craft for children, once you are happy with your planned design and the test runs, you can begin stamping on the towelling.
Apply more paint each time before stamping on the towelling fabric, as towelling absorbs more paint than normal thin cotton fabrics.
Before using a different colour clean the stamp thoroughly with paper towelling or toilet paper.
Tip: Stamp with a magazine underneath the fabric item as this gives the stamp some extra cushion so the paint covers more evenly on the fabric; this also helps when stamping on paper.
**Variations
Use your towelling item as “gift wrap” for bubble bath, soaps or perfume.
Keep these crafts for children in the family and let your little ones stamp baby designs or baby's name on a towelling nappy. Use as a clean cloth to protect Mom's shoulders while winding baby after a feed. You can also use the printed towelling nappy as a cloth wrap for a stork party or baby shower gift.
Stamp your very own kitchen dishcloth with your very own special design: Have fun and let everyone know who you are!
