Hands-on favourite amongst crafts for children

Stamping 2+ years

This one is a hands-on favourite among all the crafts for children. When stamping, use big pieces of paper. We have used our stamping art for gift wrap and special paper to cover our work books. You can decorate the envelopes for the gift wrap at the same time to add that special touch. Put a magazine under your stamping to improve results. Fingertip fun

You will need:

- Paper (there are many wonderful papers to choose from) - Stamp pad - Black fine tip pen or marker - Wet sponge in a old saucer - Toilet paper - Newspaper and apron or old T-shirt to protect clothes and work surface.

With a bit of imagination you can create the most amazing stamping using your fingertips: Mice, chicks, birds, flowers, caterpillar, cat and fish, etc. Press finger on stamp pad. Transfer onto paper. Add beaks, fins, air bubbles and other finishing touches with the black fine liner. Use the wet sponge and toilet paper to clean fingertips between colours.

**Variation: - Handprints and finger print on wrapping paper. - Make a footprint with your hand. 1. Make a fist. 2 Apply colour to the bottom of your hand where your little finger is. 3. Stamp on paper. 4. Use your finger to make little toes.

Sunday school idea: Psalm 139, you are one of a kind; no two fingerprints are exactly the same.
