You will need:

- Bubble bath - Water - Washing up liquid - Clean paper - Food colouring - Drinking straw - Small containers or food trays

Method: Fill a bowl or container with water about two thirds from the brim. Mix a few drops of washing up liquid and about two tablespoons of bubble bath into the water. Mix in one or two drops of food colouring of your choice. Oranges, reds, blues and greens are always a good choice as they are strong colours and will print well. Use the dring straw to blow and create bubbles in the coloured soapy water. Experiment with blowing smaller as well as bigger bubbles.

Once the bubble mix is ready, take a clean sheet of paper and dab it carefully against the bubbles. Lift off gently and turn the paper over. Lay it flat to dry.

Variation: Use a bigger food tray for the bubble mix. Use a small hand beater to create a film of tiny bubbles. Carefully drop a few food colouring drops of different colours into the mix.

Use pastel coloured paper or cardboard to change the result. Experiment, be creative, think out of your normal box.
