These christmas decorating tips will keep little fingers busy

Ice-cream stick frame for Christmas or other special occasions

You will need:

4 ice-cream sticks for each frame;

A photo and/or printed message 6,5cm in size;

Some wire, beads, ribbon, glitter and small stickers to decorate your frame;

Glue.

Method: Stick the four ice-cream sticks together in the form of a square. Place two of the ice-cream sticks opposite each other. Apply glue to the corners. Then put the other two pieces on the wet glue and leave to dry. Once the glue is dry you can decorate the frame. You can string the beads on the wire and wrap it around the frame.

Once the frame is decorated make sure your picture and/or message is framed properly by the ice-cream stick frame. Adjust as needed. Glue a loop on the back of your frame. Cover the back of your frame with glue and stick it to the photo or message. Leave your frame to dry.

Tip: Use photos of your loved ones and hang them on the tree or on their presents. Laminate your message to make it last longer. Glue a magnet on the back to make your own fridge magnets. Use two ice-cream stick frames on top of each other to create a different effect. Cut the ice-cream sticks in half with a sharp craft knife to make smaller frames for a smaller tree or gift card.

Make similar items with ice-cream sticks: a little tree, a star, a cross, a wigwam, a crib, a house, or a stable. Click on the pictures below.
