Try these Christmas crafts for children by recycling yoghurt containers

These nifty Christmas crafts for children are fun and thrifty. Save and recycle small yoghurt containers to make serviette decoupage bells. You will need:
Empty clean small yoghurt cup/s;
Serviette with attractive patterns or pictures;
Modge Podge material varnish;
Paint brush;
Empty big yoghurt container filled with water and five drops of dishwashing liquid;
Newspaper to protect working surface;
Scissors;
4 small bells;
1 pipe cleaner;
1 m (about 1 yard) Matching thin ribbon;
Craft knife;
Glitter (optional);
Method:
Cut out the patterns and picture from the serviette to fit on the yoghurt cup. Then separate the layers of the serviette cut outs. Apply modge podge to the area of the yoghurt cup where you plan to place your preferred pattern or picture. Take the top layer of the serviette picture and evenly place it on top of the wet layer of modge podge on the yoghurt cup. Gently and smoothly apply modge podge over the top of the picture on the yoghurt cup. Take the rest of your pictures and apply them to your yoghurt cup in the same way.
Leave the yoghurt cup to dry before applying further coats. Apply the coats of modge podge in a different direction with each layer. This makes your finished product more durable. Up then down in the form of a +, and then diagonally from the left and then right in the form of an x. You can apply a little glitter onto the wet modge podge with the second last layer.
Clean your brushes in water thoroughly afterwards.
Cut the thin ribbon in one 10cm (4 inche) piece and one 12cm (5 inche) piece. Thread the 4 bells on each end of the ribbon pieces. Fold and glue the loose end of ribbon back onto each other.
Use the craft knife to cut a small x in the bottom of the yoghurt cup. Thread the one end of pipe cleaner through the x toward the inside of the yoghurt cup. Use the pipe cleaner to tie the ribbons and the bells together. Wind the other side of the pipecleaner onto itself making a loop. Decorate with a bow.
